Berger Sends Opponent Home In a Bad Mood

Level 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Paul Berger raised to 65,000 and both the button and the big blind called to see the J29 flop.

The big blind checked over to Berger who continued with a bet of 100,000 and the button almost instantly announced all in.

The big blind folded and and Berger paused very briefly before saying, "Alright, let's gamble" and calling to put the big blind at risk.

Big Blind: KJ
Paul Berger: 97

The big blind was ahead but basically flipping versus the pair and flush draw of Berger.

The A turn was safe for the big blind, but when the river came the A, the big blind shot from his chair in preparation to exit the tournament area a very unhappy customer of Berger's.

Tia Scores Two Knockouts With Three Twos

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

There was a three-way preflop all-in between Sylvain Tia and two opponents. One of them was all-in for 140,000 while the other jammed his 240,000 chips in the middle. Tia covered both of them and had a shot of scoring a double knockout.

Opponent 1: AQ
Opponent 2: 1010
Sylvain Tia: A2

Tia was way behind preflop, but sprung in the lead when he flopped trips on 272. The 3 turn did not change anything about the situation, and the 7 upgraded Tia to a full house, eliminating both opponents.

Negreanu Hits the Rail

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

In a flurry of chips hitting the felt and cards being swept into the muck, PokerNews caught the run out as Daniel Negreanu was all in and at risk with A10 against the 77 of his opponent.

With the run out of Q6QJ8 already dealt, Negreanu was on the wrong side of the coin toss and was sent to the rail.

"Payout, 542!" Negreanu called to the floor as he filmed his vlog.

Fields Eliminates Zamani

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Martin Zamani

Eric Fields raised form under the gun and the action folded to Martin Zamani in the big blind. He only had 5,000 chips left after posting his big blind and ante and added them to his big blind for an all-in call.

Martin Zamani: K2
Eric Fields: AK

Zamani flopped a guthsot straight draw on 465, but already called for his own pay-out on the A turn. The 2 river indeed did not bring him the winning hand and he exited the tournament area.
